Congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Irfaan Ali
I wish to express heartfelt Congratulations to his Excellency, Dr. Irfaan Ali on his appointment as the 9th President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. What an incredible feat to a well-deserving gentleman.
My blessings and best wishes be with you, your Excellency, our Vice-President, Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo; Attorney General, Mr. Anil. Nandlall, and all the other ministers, officials, along with the team of stalwarts that constitutes the backbone of the PPP/C — the supporters, the workers, the volunteers, the farmers, the laborers, the cane cutters, and those in every arena of occupation that stood firm through trials and tribulations to see this day.
I know that you would bring to Guyana a great calm to our fractured society that was severely damaged due to the shenanigans of the 2020 elections and the time it took for you to be sworn in. I am most certain that you would be able to reverse the plethora of negativity that has tarnished our country. I am confident that you would place our economy on solid foundations that will inevitably help all peoples of this nation. As for these reasons, we, as citizens, look forward to your time as our President with great anticipation.
Your appointment as President is quite timely and came by the will of the Universal Creator and the Universe in which the system is set that the will of the people is the will of the Almighty. You have a great purpose to serve which to this writer, would be unique and Divine especially when you have the Creator watching over you. I am most certain that you will bring positive vibrations and energies along with your winning personality, charisma, and love for humanity that will help us to break barriers and create change Guyana so desperately needs. Consequently, you have proven yourself to have mastered the art of winning friends and influencing people. In this regard, I respect how you started firstly by sharing out masks to all Guyanese of all ethnicities and stretched your arms to all peoples in need, and not just to one group of people. This shows the greatness of your heart for humanity at large where you understand the concept of Karmayog — whereby service to humanity is the greatest worship to God. The Islamic concept to this is Khidmat-ul-Insaan. Additionally, our Christian brothers and sisters would also say, “Faith without works is dead/useless.” James 2:26
Mr. President, I commit to assisting you and our country in any way that I can so that together, we may propel this nation to greatness. Your victory signifies the confidence the electorate has in your insightful leadership. I also take the pleasure of wishing our First Lady, Mrs. Arya Ali, and your beautiful family success. I believe that a proven and tested leader like you will be rewarded with many more achievements. Know that my family and I will stand by you and uphold you in our prayers as you begin your journey of leadership and service. May Almighty God grant you good health and prosperity as you set out to fulfill your purpose of serving Guyana and humanity.
